When we decided to elope it was important for us to find a Vietnam elopement photographer who was talented and could help us create a perfect day for the two of us. We stumbled upon Thang on Google and we were quickly impressed.

His photos were stunning and he had many options for locations in Vietnam, which were all so pretty. When we reached out he got back to us quickly and we met him over Skype.

Being from Canada we were nervous about the language barrier and about figuring out how to plan our day. Thang took care of everything! He helped us organize everything, from giving us recommendations to him to booking vendors himself.

When we got to Vietnam, we met with Thang – an Vietnam elopement photographer to got to know him very well and he did a photo session with us in the city of Hanoi. It gave us so much relief having met him right before our big day.

The wedding day was phenomenal, he picked the best locations to take photos and they turned out better than we expected!!!!

Our experience working with Thang was amazing

He made us feel so comfortable and guided us the whole time! We had never had professional photos done before, and I’ll admit I was a bit nervous about how it would go, especially since we were coming all the way from Canada and our only communication had been online and over a few video calls. We felt right at ease and I could not believe how amazing the photos looked after just seeing a few sneak peeks during our first shoot!!

I was initially drawn to Thangs work via his instagram page and LOVED the way he captured the couples moments and captured the beautiful surroundings as well. The fact that he even travelled to the location we’d chosen for our wedding (Phu Quoc Island) was so incredible. Our wedding went off without a hitch, he also found/suggested a florist that provided the decor for our ceremony and a beautiful backdrop for our photos.

Thang is an incredibly gifted photographer!

After sharing some of our wedding photos on social media, the response was overwhelming—everyone was blown away by the beautiful moments he captured. One of my friends, who runs a wedding business, even said they were among the best wedding photos she’s ever seen.

My husband and I are quite camera-shy and not fans of overly posed shots, and Thang really respected that. He documented our day in such a natural, effortless way—it genuinely felt like he was telling our story as it unfolded.

Thang truly went above and beyond for us. He stayed well past the agreed time without hesitation, which we really appreciated. He also arranged for an amazing florist and a wonderful celebrant—both brought so much beauty and warmth to our day.

As a sweet surprise, he even gifted us a mini photo album with Polaroids from the wedding, which we absolutely loved! And to top it all off, he delivered our full gallery in just over two weeks—much earlier than the expected 5–6 weeks. It was such a fantastic surprise, especially since we were so eager to relive the day!

Our wedding felt truly magical, and we’re so grateful to Thang for capturing it so perfectly.

My now husband and I always wanted to do something different, I personally love the mountains and scenic backdrops and after reviewing Jasmin Photography and Thang’s beautiful work and style we contacted him through DM, which eventually we jumped in a video consultation call to discuss other locations (which I already had SaPa in mind), our vision, and getting to know each other better; making the planning more comfortable and trusting the process.

Planning all the way from Canada was a success! And like many would be- I was hesitant at first, but communicating and working with Thang is like with a friend. He is also very detailed oriented, he remembers everything haha. I am SO picky myself, and to find someone who understood my few requests and listens, I knew working with him was a good choice.
