If you are planning to elope in Vietnam, there are many stunning places that will make your heart skip when you see them in real life. Some fantastic places will be like Moc Chau, Ta Xua, Sapa, Ha Giang, Phu Yen, Hoi An, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ninh Thuan, Da Lat, Daklak, Phu Quy Island, Phu Quoc Island.
Vietnam has many beautiful spots for your ideal elopement wedding although some of the places below are at least 04 hours to drive from the nearest airport. What can I say, Wow! But trust me, it’ll be worth it.

How to Find The Best Places To Elope?
You can sit down together. Close your eyes. Imagine the moment you share your vows. This is the most important aspect. Your elopement day should be about both of you. Not one or the other.
Therefore, this blog is what all about. Scroll down to read all about the beautiful landscapes Vietnam has to offer. One of my absolute favourite things about Vietnam is that it has everything: Lakes, Beaches, Long Coastlines, Deserts, Mountains, and Rustic Forests.
If you know that you want to elope in Vietnam for sure but don’t know an exact location in mind. However, it’s okay to feel free to reach out anytime. I do have way more beautiful locations in my storage that I’ve been waiting for the right couple to elope at.
02. Find Wedding Suppliers And Accommodation
The best advice is this… the earlier you can secure your celebrant, photographer, videographer, florist, hair/makeup artist and accommodation, the better!
Definitely prioritize mid-week dates when eloping too as you’ll have much better luck with supplier availability and it’s usually quieter.

Last but certainly not least, I do believe that the right Vietnam elopement photographer needs to not only capture important moments you might have missed but also know how to prepare you for the best experience by assisting in location scouting, elopement planning, photography permit (if any), and so much more.
Tip: Whether you consider me as your Vietnam/Asia Elopement Photographer or any other photographer, the sooner you find and book a photographer, the better as some couples are booking anywhere between 6 – 9 months in advance.
03. Decide What To Wear
I always say to my couples that the best thing to do to really enjoy the experience is embrace everything on your elopement day, including the weather.
For Spring, Fall and Winter (especially winter) I always suggest bringing an extra layer of clothing and if you’re eloping in the rugged highlands/mountains some leather boots for walking are a must as well. I suggest looking for a shawl with earthy tones or perhaps a cardigan or fashionable (but warm) coat.

01. Ninh Thuan
(THE BEST OF THE BEST, AMAZING PLACE TO ELOPE IN VIETNAM)
Why elope in Ninh Thuan:
If you’re looking for epic mountainous backdrops, deserts, windy roads, and rugged beaches then you can’t go wrong with Ninh Thuan. Without a doubt, it is one of the best places to elope in Vietnam.
Ninh Thuan is one of Vietnam’s most visited locations and can get pretty busy in the summer months. However, with a bit of local knowledge, it’s super-easy to find quiet locations away from the popular tourist hotspots.
Another cool thing about Ninh Thuan is that most locations are around 25~30 minutes from the city. You genuinely feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere without having to hike for miles.
I’ve explored the best places in Ninh Thuan for several years so I’d be more than happy to lend a hand if you’re searching for the perfect private ceremony location. If you’re wondering where to elope in Vietnam then perhaps Ninh Thuan is the epic landscape for you!
December to April next year is always the best time to avoid the rainy season. It all depends on what scenery and vibes speak to your heart the most.
How to get to Ninh Thuan:
If you’re on an aeroplane from the Vietnam International Airport such as Tan Son Nhat or Noi Bai. It takes approximately 1.5 hours of journey to Cam Ranh Airport and around 01 hour journey to Phan Rang City in Ninh Thuan.
There’s plenty of beautiful scenery on the way and you might spot the best beach roadside in Vietnam as well!

02. Moc Chau
Why elope in Moc Chau:
Moc Chau is the most beautiful place during the summer and fall. This place is also a bit too underrated for its beauty. Truly, there are many epic mountain ranges, waterfalls, and floral white fields to elope.
How to get to Moc Chau:
It is approximately 4 hours of journey to Moc Chau from Noi Bai International Airport. I recommend renting a private car with a driver to pick up us to Moc Chau and transfer us to shooting locations.
Best time of year to elope in Moc Chau:
There is truly no bad time of year to visit Moc Chau but depending on what time of year you visit will determine your experience.

03. SaPa
Why elope in Sa Pa:
Sa Pa is the most beautiful during the summer and fall. Within 5 hours from the nearest airport to Sa Pa. Cuisine, ethnic minority, cool fresh air, waterfalls, mountains. You can easily explore the hidden beauty in Sa Pa.
How to get to Sa Pa:
It is approximately 4 hours of journey to Sa Pa town from Hanoi city. I recommend booking limousine tickets car with a driver to pick up us to Sa Pa.

Best time of year to elope in Sa Pa:
I am an adventurer at heart and I believe any time of year is an excellent time to elope. However, my favourite time of year is during the summer months. We will get more sunny days from June to September than misty from January to April.

04. Da Lat
Why elope in Da Lat:
Da Lat is one of the best places to elope in South Vietnam or the most beautiful cities! Da Lat is my favourite place to recommend for the right couple to elope at.
The most beautiful elopement locations are the beautiful pine forest hills and lakes. During the morning you can watch the misty fog, and sunrise and witness some of the most breathtaking views of the mountains.
Best time of year to elope in Da Lat:
The best time to visit Da Lat is from November to May next year. You can feel the cool fresh air, fog, rays, lavender fields, and pine hills.
How to get to Da Lat:
Dalat is approximately 01 hour from Vietnam International Airport to Lien Khuong Airport and 30 minutes by bus or taxi to Dalat City.

05. Daklak
Why elope in Daklak:
There are no famous check-in places in Daklak but you can find peace and feel your breath. Some rustic forest on the way from the airport to Buon Me Thuat city will break your heart.

How to get to Daklak:
It is approximately 2 hours to fly to Buon Me Thuot City from Vietnam International Airport.
Best time of year to elope in Daklak:
You shouldn’t visit there when Daklak is in the rainy season from July to October. The best time to visit Daklak is from December to April next year.

06. Ha Giang
Why elope in Ha Giang:
Ha Giang is one of the most beautiful places in Northwest Vietnam. There are many beautiful places that make you breathless. Green rice fields, bamboo forests, epic mountains, awesome flower plateau from October to December.

How to get to Ha Giang:
It takes approximately 05 hours from Hanoi City to Ha Giang City and several hours to reach other places. There are many hidden beautiful places in Ha Giang that make you breathless. Such as epic mountains, wildflower plateaus and awesome rivers.

Ta Xua is located in Northwest Vietnam. This gorgeous place is full of misty mountains in the early morning and sunset hours that make you breathless.

Ta Xua is located in Bac Yen Town. It takes approximately 04 hours from Hanoi City to this town. I recommend booking a private car with a driver to reach Bac Yen Town and pick up us to other beautiful places in Ta Xua.
