19 Jun Reasons To Elope?

What Is Elopement Wedding?
According to the Cambridge Dictionary, Elopement means “the act of leaving home secretly in order to get married”.
Nowadays elopement in the modern day simply means getting married without any guests (just the couple themselves) or with just a very limited amount of guests or just with an elopement photographer.
An elopement doesn’t mean you ditch all traditions, it just means you ditch the ones that don’t make sense to you and you keep the ones that you truly value.
What Is An Adventure Elopement?
Instead of having a big wedding, you’ve decided to have an adventure elopement in a different corner of the world.
Wow! It may sound exciting and awesome at first but then you started to feel overwhelmed with all the planning. The emphasis on elopement days is centred around the couple and their love for each other.
An adventure elopement means you choose to elope with just the two of you (and your best-fit adventure elopement photographers in Vietnam and Asia out there) or with some best friends and family members. Adventure elopements are typically outside in nature and involve some element of adventure.
Travelling to somewhere meaningful to your relationship or a destination completely new to start your marriage on an adventurous note. Elopement allows you to set aside stress, and expectations, and throw out any traditions you don’t feel connected.
You can choose to stay in a cosy villa or bungalow or hike up to the mountains/waterfalls/rugged beaches to share your vows.

Intimacy & Intention
Elopements create the opportunity to be incredibly comfortable and create the space to say what you truly want to say in your vows. It takes away the pressure of people watching you and takes away any fear of judgment.
Elopements strip everything away down to what really matters- two people exchanging their vows and celebrating their love for each other.
When you elope, you have more time to spend with your partner. Elopements allow you to be with your partner the whole day. You two can spend the day together having the best time ever, revelling in the fact that you just got married and you get to spend the rest of your lives together!
When you elope, you can have no distractions, no stress, no drama, regrets, or expectations- just two people committing the rest of their lives to one another.

Here are some actual reasons to elope from couples
- We want the day to be about us, just us!
- We want something intimate and meaningful
- We want our wedding to be intimate, adventurous, and focused on each other!
- We want a day that when we walk away we felt inspired, not drained. And it was inspiring indeed
- Big weddings are about the guests, elopements are about the couple
- We want to get married just the two of us somewhere amazing/beautiful and make lifetime memories together
- We don’t think a traditional wedding fits us. We want something different and that feels magical.

Your Elopement Day Is Your Wedding Day
You deserve an experience that is honest, meaningful, and memorable. Once again, however much money you spend on your wedding/elopement day doesn’t say anything about who you are or what your values are.
One thing we keep hearing over and over is that “I wish we hadn’t done that on our wedding day” or “I wish we could have…” and those statements break our hearts every single time.
If there’s only one advice we can give to you, please take this from me: Invest in what matters, invest in what you truly love.
